I have been in Korea now for 5 months & have learned so much about myself as well as the world around me. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about what kind of impact people have made in my life with their stories, songs, &journeys. I thrive to do the same & feel very privileged to be able to share with you all what has been going on & what is to come.
You win some, you lose some, but getting supportive messages & comments from people that I have never met face to face throughout the years since I was 17, & even starting to reconize usernames/names is so incredibly humbling & fantastic.
I plan on taking more time to not only develop myself as a musician, but also myself as a person.. as a soul amongst many other souls.
Many of you may be “used to” certain styles of music that I do, but I think it’s only appropriate for me to adapt to how my heart is being shaped. My music will still be mine, the voice, but with time comes growing pains, ultimately molding my heart to what it is meant to be as it is stretched through trials & joys.
I want to stay an honest writer & consequently, sings songs & sing them the way that is most honest in my form of expression.

When I am tired, overworked, sick, or simply not in a good place, you can tell on the outside. It’s strange how the mind and body are so interconnected but we try to separate the two. You can try to hide it but it’s like your SOUL is crying for help.
The room seems empty. The room seems full. She is still the same wherever she is or whatever surrounds her. But somehow there is hope. She is lost, but she will be found.
I wanted to make this my first “piece” where I shot in a specific way & edited everything together.
First time in 10 years and I’ve reunited with family.. now that I’m older I see how much we really do try as people to live our lives.. we are all such broken and imperfect people but we TRY and that is the beautiful struggle for us all. To those of you fighting a hard battle, fight on - I’m right there with you.
I was happy to have had the opportunity to collab with my bay area brotha Paul on this rendition of Take Care. Life is definitely about the ups and downs but all you need is to surround yourself with good people who will be there to continually encourage you! Big shout out to Anthony Bui for being a rockstar director. Had a fun day of shooting. More working together in the future I hope!
